Not sure why these pickleballs are so small

I didn't realize these were mini before I got them. They are really tiny. Not sure how using these in training will translate to real world play if you're relying on familiarity with the way a regulation sized pickle ball responds to your style of play.

fun to use for practicing

These mini balls are mainly used for drilling and practicing. I found it helps when doing wall drills or if you have a rebounder board at home. The balls seem to last for a long time and the colors make it easy to see as well. These mini pickleball are quite expensive and I don't know if I really need 12 of these since they last for a long time. I have only used 1 so far for the past month and it still works as new. It doesn't make as loud a sound as normal pickleballs and doesn't damage the wall so it is good for indoor practice. The ball itself is the same shape as a regular pickleball but it does weigh much less and lighter. It comes at you fast so it helps improve hand-eye coordination.

Fun color and lightweight

I ordered this set of 12 mini Franklin training Pickleballs to use in gift bags for children on a mission trip. I can’t speak to how they perform as far as Pickleball use, but for my purposes, they are wonderful. I needed something lightweight and small so is not to take up too much room in my luggage. The lime green color is very appealing! These balls do not bounce very high, which is not a problem for my use, but they do travel well through the air so they can be used for playing catch or baseball with miniature bats. The material is a slightly soft vinyl plastic, and the balls compress fairly easily one squeezed. The design appears to be well-made and durable. The price of $20 for 12 makes each ball about $1.65, which is more than I had hoped to spend per ball. I probably won’t re-order for my gift-giving purpose, because they’re not the best value for me, but I can still recommend them.

Mini-pickleballs

This pack of 12 mini-pickleballs are good for more than just targeted practicing. My two-and-a-half year old grandson liked whacking them with the plastic golf clubs we have at our house. And our three-and-a-half year old cat liked swatting them too.The materials feels a drop softer and more flexible than the whiffle-ball plastic that regular sized pickleballs are made out of.Safe to use in the house :-)

Fun training pickleballs that are safe to use in the house

The Franklin Mini Training Pickleballs are smaller than I expected even though I saw the measurements. I added a photo comparing the balls to a quarter so you can see how small they are. They are the size of a ping pong ball. These lightweight balls are great for working on your paddle control. The bright color helps to keep an eye on the ball. My favorite thing is they are safe to use in the house with little chance of damaging anything.

Mini wiffle balls.

I had read the product title too quickly when ordering, I thought these were baseball size. They are as advertised - mini balls for pickle ball training. My apologies I am unable to test the product for you. They do appear exactly as advertised.

Effective and Great Training Tool - Recommeneded!

I have found these mini pickleballs to be an effective tool for helping me find the sweet spot on the paddle and improving my eye-hand coordination. While I would NOT suggest doing full rallying with them, they are good for doing drills such as drop shots into the kitchen, improving strokes (backhand and forehand), and speed if hitting back and forth with someone at a short distance. I also like the high impact yellow color to see the ball in a variety of conditions. To note, these balls are significantly smaller than normal pickleballs, and the benefit is that when you play with a regulation-sized ball, it will appear to be much bigger and allow you to swing more thoroughly. I am enjoying using them and recommend them!

Great tool for drilling. Possibly indoor safe.

These mini pickleballs are a great tool for improving focus, finding the sweet spot on the paddle, and sharpening quick-reflex shots - Franklin Mini Training Pickleballs. I find them most effective for short court and net drills. After just minutes of play the regular balls look huge in comparison. The minis are about the size of ping pong balls and have a lot of give to the feel. My husband did some backboard drills inside the house when they first came in, there is some softness to the impact, but I can’t say they are completely indoor safe, ymmv. They have a lively bounce, perform like regular pickleballs with maybe a bit more pep.

Up your game with these training balls!

I ordered these cute miniature pickleballs to help up my game. I was using them on my favorite drill, hitting them off the wall. The smaller size makes it more quiet and I don’t have to worry about damaging the wall. to hit They bounce similar to normal pickleballs. I’ve also used these to practice at the kitchen line. Keeping my eye on this smaller ball will hopefully help train my eyes. The material is a softer plastic then a normal sized pickleball.

Awesome training accessory

Franklin mini training pickleballs are lightweight and durable, making them ideal for focused drills and improving hand-eye coordination. Their smaller size increases challenge during practice, and they’re a fun addition for sharpening quick reaction skills. Not recommended for official games, but excellent for warm-ups and skill-building.

Great For Training

My brother-in-law (like so many nowadays) is a pickleball enthusiast, so much so that he wants to build a court in their backyard. He liked these mini training pickleballs, and said they were a great quality and hit off the paddle as expected, with a good bounce. The smaller size, helps you focus during practice, to get more precise on your serves and returns. And the large quantity in the pack, mean you can practice over and over, without chasing the same one or two balls over and over. The color was bright and vibrant, and easy to see even in dusk. He has only used them on outdoor courts, so we can't speak to how they work on an indoor court, but overall for outdoor use, these are great balls to help you train and increase your precision.

versatile little balls

I don't use these for pickleball practice, but they come in handy with my sports-loving 8yo. He uses them to practice accuracy in hitting baseballs--it works just fine if you throw them from not too far of a distance, ideally using a plastic bat. They are great for just tossing around and playing catch. They are honestly also just great little fidgets, if your kid is into that. These are durable, they don't bounce around like crazy, and they are flexible enough so that they don't damage surfaces. They can fly pretty fast, but they're reasonable to use indoors because of the size and lightweight profile. They are nice and bright and colorful, making them easy to find. I haven't had any of them break even after some pretty heavy use. These are great for throwing into your bag so that you have something to toss around with your kid in waiting rooms and places like that.

Perfect for training!

The Franklin Sports Mini Training Pickleballs are a great tool for players looking to improve precision and control in their game. Smaller than standard pickleballs, these are designed to sharpen focus and enhance hand-eye coordination during drills and practice. They're made with durable plastic and maintain a consistent bounce, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. While not intended for regulation play, they're a fun and effective way to level up your skills or add variety to your training routine.

Useful training tool

These mini pickleballs are lightweight, durable, and great for improving hand-eye coordination, quick reflexes, and shot control. They’re ideal for wall drills, rebounders, and indoor use since they don’t bounce too high or make a loud sound. The bright color makes them easy to track, and the smaller size really forces you to focus on form. While the price feels a bit high and 12 balls might be more than most need, they hold up well even with frequent use on hard surfaces. Not a replacement for game balls, but a very useful training tool.

Perfect for training

I ordered these mini pickleballs for some extra practice, and they have been really helpful. Since they are smaller than regular balls, they really make you focus on your form. My reaction time has gotten noticeably faster after using these for just a couple of weeks. They are also very tough and perform super well. I have been hitting them on my concrete driveway and they are holding up perfectly. The bright yellow color is easy to see, which is nice for evening practice. These are not meant to replace a real game ball, but for training they are perfect. The price is great for what you get. If you want to work on your control and get better at quick volleys, these are a fantastic choice. I am very happy with my order.

Replacement balls

Great for small games as replacement balls. Plenty in the package and they were good quality

Like funner ping pong balls

These pickeballs are tiny--about the size of ping pong balls--so they wouldn't be good around kids under the age of 3. But my older kids have been having a blast bouncing them around and using them for baseball practice. I'm not sure how practical they are for getting the hang of hitting a pickleball, but they're good for accuracy training! They are, in my opinion, a little pricy for all they are, but for name brand balls, they're quality and still a good enough choice.

Not sure the difference btwn practice and official

We have younger learners in the family and these are great for practice. The quantity for the price seemed more reasonable than buying them used or new at other locations. Buyer beware these are the size of ping pong balls. BUT small and lightweight for indoor use

Great Training Aid

These mini pickleballs are a great training aid. They are bright, just like regular pickleballs, but they are much smaller. They are also made of a different material and are much more pliable than normal pickleballs. That said, these balls still have lots of bounce, spin, and mimic the characteristics of a normal pickleball. If you are looking to mix up your pickleball training and warmups, these are a great addition.
