Awesome Intermediate Recreational Pickleball Paddle

The Franklin Sports Signature Carbon Series Pickleball Paddle offers excellent all-around performance at a good value for its price. This paddle is ideal for intermediate players or those wanting to upgrade from their beginner-level gear. The T700 carbon fiber surface provides reliable spin and control, while the polypropylene core delivers a forgiving sweet spot with enough pop for serves and drives without sacrificing touch at the net. It feels well balanced in the 7.5–8.0 oz range, making it easy to maneuver during fast exchanges, and the comfortable, moisture-wicking grip holds up well during long play sessions.

Is it worth it. Yes.

This made me realize I have just gotten by with the cheap paddles I have used in the past. As far as playing with more spin and touch on the ball, you will notice a difference with this paddle immediately over a cheap one. Night and day difference. Help yourself keep the ball in the court. Can't say for sure if the carbon is truly needed but it does seem to have nice touch on the ball and better receptivity to putting spin on the ball. Rim around the paddle is thick and seems super durable - I'm not trying to scrape any grounders with it to test on purpose bc the paddle is so nice but I certainly have way more confidence it over my cheap paddles. Have not necessarily considered Franklin a premium brand in the past but this is a great paddle.

Ready for the Pro's!

Super nice racket really upped my humble game of Pickleball. I'm returning serves better, making saves, and moving with more agility on the court (or so I think). Even my wife has noticed the improvement in my confidence on and off the court. But seriously, this is a great racket. It's lighter and more solid than my other rec-class ones that came as a pair along with a few balls and a case. This is a single (not pair) of rackets which you might not notice as you click through the pics and description so take note - but it's solid with a good grip and large sweet spot. If I ever turn professional, this will be my racket of choice.

Solid performance paddle with great control and feel

I picked up this pickleball paddle to use for regular play, and it has been a strong performer on the court. The carbon fiber surface gives it a nice balance of power and control, and the ball response feels consistent across the face. The sweet spot is generous, which helps with accuracy during both volleys and baseline shots. The paddle feels well balanced in hand and is comfortable to use for longer matches. The grip is secure and absorbs vibration well, which helps reduce fatigue. I also like that it offers good touch for dinks and soft shots while still having enough pop when you need to put some pace on the ball. This paddle feels well made and reliable for recreational or competitive play. Being USAP approved is a plus for anyone who plays in tournaments. For the quality and performance, it offers great value and is a solid choice for players looking to step up their game.

Great balance between power and control

This midrange pickleball paddle brings a good balance of control and performance. As a newer pickleball player I appreciate the quality grip handle and the balanced weight of this paddle. It has an easy to find sweet spot that feels good when hit, especially compared to an entry level paddle. The surface allows for a better spin. While I’m no pro at the sport, I can certainly tell the difference between a low end and and mid range paddle, this seems to be a good balance.

I'm super excited about this pickleball paddle. It's a lightweight and has a nice grip. The paddle itself has a slight texture which feels like it will help with getting good hits in and having more control over the ball.Though I'm an amateur, this paddle feels like it will up my game.Every time I play with it, I like the feel, especially how lightweight it is. I find I want to play more because I've got this paddle.

Tournament Approved

Pickleball continues to be all the rage. This paddle is top of the line in design with a cushioned grip, solid build of carbon fibers, and a balanced weight for twist and swing. It is made for a professional but is great for all skill levels.

Decent paddle for the price! Good pop, power and control

This Franklin Signature paddle is a great paddle at a competitive price point. The T700 raw carbon fiber face provides nice pop and control while the 13mm width provides just a bit of extra power. A good balance. I like the elongated shape which provides just a bit more reach. Colorful edge guard will make this paddle pop out of paddle racks when playing open or rec ball.

Nice paddle with lots of spin.

Im not a problem pickelballer but im decent and have used a bunch of different paddles. I have couple different ones. Some are too clicky and I feel the ball is hard to control off them. Others feel dead and silent. This one seems to be right in the middle and a good compromise.Im able to get a lot of spin on the ball with this paddle. And also able to control the depth pretty good when really smacking the ball. Which is a struggle with some paddles.I like it and will continue to use it.

Great Control, Great Quality, and Great Paddle

I never realized how much better you could be with a good paddle at pickleball paddle until I got this. It definitely lives up to its “pro” title. The paddle hits super hard, but I feel like I have great control, and can spin the ball very easily. The paddle has a very large sweet spot, and no matter where you hit it, it feels like I can get great control. I love the feel of the paddle because it’s light and well balanced. It is definitely a strong paddle, too. I would say that this is probably the best paddle I have played with, and is probably one of the best on the market. I definitely recommend this pickleball paddle is you need a high end paddle with amazing control.

Excellent paddle

This paddle is perfectly sized and weighted. It's a bit different from my current paddle, in that the face is slightly longer and narrower. This, plus the lighter weight, makes it much easier to control my strikes on the pickle ball. I like to put spin on my shots, especially top spin, and the paddle makes it easy to do that. All these features gives me confidence while playing, making the game fun.The grip is really nice too, although perhaps a little small for my hand. But that's fine, it's comfortable and has a nice feel to it. I don't wear a glove, so the grippy feel works.

Great product

I am really enjoying this paddle. As a person who plays here and there and not too seriously I was often at the mercy of whatever paddle was around (often those the teachers brought of extras friends had). This paddle is just mine and I can feel/tell the difference from the ones that I have borrowed. The grip is smooth and comfortable. Easy to grab (and great for people whose palms sweat a lot as my son said). Overall its lightweight but well balanced. And finding that sweet spot on how hard or soft to his has been a breeze. The color scheme makes it easy to find your paddle amongst others but isn't so bright that people who don't like to be noticed are embarrassed.I will say, and its my fault, that I simply expected it to come as a pair but this is only one. Just be aware when I wasn't.

Pickle ball paddle

The paddle is lightweight and strong, and the grip is comfortable and easy to hold on eliminating hand fatigue, especially when playing several rounds. A very nice paddle and I look forward to getting lots of use from it.
